Animal Kingdom Why are wild animals not kept as pet??

I know Wild animals have highly specialized diets, behaviors, and environmental needs. Unlike domestic pets, they cannot easily adapt to captivity and often suffer from malnutrition. Are these enough reasons not to keep them.as pet?

Simply because, being wild, they cannot be kept in a domestic habitat; they need their wild and natural habitat to live. That's why there are wild animals and pets or domestic animals.

Wild life are termed wild for a cause. No amount of affection can erase their instincts. You might nurture them from a young age and provide good care yet eventually their inherent nature will emerge. This is a fact whether you like it or not.
