A few months when news broke out that some games would be selling for as high as 100 dollars, a lot of gamers kicked against it, claiming that it is too much to pay for just one game. While there was no conclusion on how much should be fair for such a game, I think there are still people who won't mind paying that kind of amount for a game that they like. What do you think?

£49.99 for Civilization VI was the most I've paid in one go for a base game.

However, I think I must have paid close to £100 each on Civilization V, Crusader Kings II, and The Sims 4 if we count their expansions!

It's many years ago. The game that I have purchased was a console bundle, a limited edition of the priest, which was of approximately $100. It consisted of a custom-themed console, exclusive in-game content and rare artwork. It was an expensive venture but the originality of the items made it worth it.
