My first game was on a very old console, Sega. The graphics were simple, the gameplay was basic and despite the simplicity, they still managed to get me hooked for hours. I would abandon my duties in the house and hide myself under the bed playing Sega. I was beaten mercilessly by my mom because of this. Those moments were pure fun.
If I remember correctly, I think it was the Mario Bros. game. I played it on my first console, a Super Nintendo. What times those were! To think that decades have passed since that first moment. You've brought back a beautiful childhood memory.
Contra was the first game that I played and it was on the Game Boy device. This particular game was one that I enjoyed playing back then just to keep myself busy and happy.
The first game I ever played was the very first Sonic the Hedgehog game on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis! This was way back in the year 1994 when I was only 4 years old. My cousins brought their Genesis over to my grandparent's house one day, one of them convinced me to pick up the controller and I was hooked. Sonic is still my favorite gaming franchise to this very day.
As far as I can remember, Doom was the first game that I ever played. It was introduced to me by one of my friends. At that time it was a really fun game. However, now we have several versions of that game. Various versions of the game have been modified by the gaming community.
