Movies Based Upon Books

I have watched a lot of movies based on the books and I believe sometimes movies are better than books and sometimes the movies are unable to do justice to the books. One of the best movies based on books is Clockwork Orange and One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest.

I have watched some movies that are based on books, and some of them did not do justice to the books. The books are much better than the movies, so it is best to read them to fully understand the story. Sometimes, it is the other way around.

Most times, the movies always dilute the essence of the books and doesn't give the full vibes that were obtainable from the book. 50 shades of Gray is a typical example of such scenario.

I stopped watching movies based on books with 50 Shades of Grey. The movie was a messy depiction of the very interesting story that the book was. Many movies based on books don't capture the real essence of the stories of the books.

It depends. Some adaptations capture the essence of the book and bring characters or settings to life visually, adding a new dimension. Others simplify or change too much, losing depth and nuance. Personally, I see them as complementary experiences rather than replacements for the book.

I still always find it better reading the books. I think books are better than films. Books develop your imagination, are much more detailed than films. Books help to improve our English writing and are proven to help imagined the story better.
