With the rate of divorce increasing in today's society, i feel it is a lot harder these days to find a suitable partner for marriage. These days we have so many people who involve themselves in so many things that goes against moral standards. I personally feel it is harder to find a good or faithful partner compared to in the past.

I agree with you on that. The divorce rates are definitely high these days worldwide and it does seem like finding someone truly compatible and a loyal is harder. I think it's because people have more options now with dating apps and everything which can make commitment feel less important. It's better to stay single until you find someone who truly appreciates you and gives you respect.

It's possible, but I believe marriage isn't for everyone. It all depends on your relationship, but there is love out there for every person.

That's not a lie. I was just asking for the price of cooking gas and it was so expensive and someone expects marriage to be “simple” like before? My uncle married with one box and radio, now even wedding intro list alone can finish all your salary. 😂

I hear people say “our parents endured” and i just laugh. My mum told me that food was cheap then, now check the price of food stuffs. It's a different world. Social media also enters marriage matters too much, everybody is busy comparing.

In my opinion, what has made marriage harder these days is the inflation. My grandparents and parents could marry and take care of their family with average and even low income. The average income now is not enough to take care of oneself let alone a family.

I totally agree with you. Marriage is never for everyone. There are those who can be in a good relationship without raising it further to marriage and they are great with it.

I think it can be harder now in some ways. Modern life adds pressures like careers, finances, and social expectations, plus constant comparison through social media. At the same time, people are more aware of communication and mental health, which can help relationships.

The comparison is what is killing marriages nowadays. A lot of people now feel like their marriage has to be like that of some other people without knowing the sacrifices those people make towards achieving what they have at the moment.
