Some people say that you should consider how lucrative a career is before choosing because you have to pay bills.

Some say you should go for passion because you have to enjoy your career.

How can one balance potential pay and passion when choosing a career?

The best way would be to continue with your passion along with your job. Not everyone is lucky to convert their passion into a good paying job. And it is the harsh reality that at the end of the day you have to provide for life, pay bills and bring food to table. Going for a job that pays is the right choice because passion can't be a feeder. Yes, don't leave your passion behind. Find time to pursue your hobbies and passion along with your job. This brings happiness and helps you have a better work life balance

I used to chase passion blindly. Then bills started piling up. Now I mix both. You could do what you love but find ways to monetize it. Passion without income can turn to bitternrss real quick. And money without interest drains you too.
