Gaming Favorite Pokémon game?

The Pokémon saga has hundreds of games for all kinds of consoles, but only a few have I truly enjoyed. In my case, my three favorite Pokémon games are Pokémon Gold for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Black 2 for the Nintendo DS, and Pokémon Sword (recently released for the Nintendo Switch). What are your favorite Pokémon games?

Pokemon Ruby is definitely my favorite Pokemon game, Generation 3 is awesome! I also have a soft spot for Gen 1, even though it's super broken. I find myself going back and replaying Gen 1 more than other generations, I think it's due to all the glitches in the games . I also think Generation 5 was super underrated, I loved White version when it came out and my wife loved Black version.
