I use one cause another 3 USD on top of the 9 I pay for hosting each month isn't a big deal and I feel more mail comes thru.

Not all the time. I have one for my business because clients take you more seriously when your email is not “@gmail.” But for every other activity gmail is cool. Paid email is the best for investment if you want to look legit and organized.

No, I understand they're more secure and also more private, perfect for avoiding hacks or that kind of thing, but no, I only use Gmail

I don't pay for email services. I am using my Gmail very okay free of charge. It is top corporate brands that pay for email services. I am sure I would need a paid customized email as my business keeps growing and expanding.
