Yep and totally not looking forward to it.
Hoping everyone has a great NYE. It's already 2026 for me 
Staying home celebrating New Years. Had a word with my daughters on them helping out more. They are 23 and 25 years old starting to get it. Both have a job. My 16 and 14 year old sons I adopted 2 years ago do it without being told finding the house clean, one is the dishes washed. I know they will become responsible adults one day
Yeah I could be doing more for my parents. Me and my partner help with the dishwasher and cook but I suppose we could still do a bit more.
I am not too happy when I come home and the place is a mess. Going to charge my daughters rent too since they live under my roof. They are spoiled at times and that is going to change. Come home from shopping with clothes and shoes they do not need. Their car insurance is in my name which they do hand me money to pay for that. Oldest needs a new car and I am not paying for that this time
Yeah definitely start charging board or rent. Me and my partner pay $240 NZD a week board. Pays for power, food, Internet etc.
Going too and getting the news on this tomorrow. Plus taught my youngest tough love back in March, she got busted for drinking and driving. Called me to bail her out of jail telling her no, needed to learn the consequences from a bad choice made. did her time in Jail and almost done with probation

This year tucked BIG time!
It did but I'm dealing with marriage issues and lost my uncle on my dad's side in November and then in December I lost my grandpa also on my dad's side.
Worked on my 1939 Chevy, friend of mine and I dropped the engine I built, a 350 Chevy in it. Everything is bolted in and ready to start up. Had the talk with my daughters and they surprised me. Said they felt guilty taking advantage of me and that is going to stop. Going to help out more and agreed with paying rent. Also going to watch their spending now. They sold some of the clothes and shoes they did not need which they bought already. 2026 is going to be better for me, met up with the match maker I am seeing and introduced me to a guy whom she set me up with. He liked me on the spot and we talked. He went through the same things I went through did ask me to go on a date on Saturday telling him yes. I am excited already.

It will and was awful before, divorced my ex husband 3 years ago whom cheated on me. I booted his butt out of my house after catching him in the act. Knew I deserved better. I learned a lot from this matchmaker seeing I made the mistakes too. A few were not noticing things were not right, the guy was a dirtbag or an a-holeThanks for visiting

Me and my partner celebrate our ten year anniversary this year. My previous relationship was a complete mess. Always getting manipulated.
