Hello Lynn and everyone, Have a good day.

It is a miserable day here . I don't think we will have a good Summer.

Jean sounded good yesterday and had a full tin of soup and a bread roll . It is not a lot but more than she has been eating. Her homemade soup is finished now or she would of had that instead of a tin.

I have spoken to her on the phone this morning and asked her if she had anything else to eat but she could not remember.
I am going to visit her tomorrow again.

I have had a bad week as i was scammed out of a lot of money on Tuesday and it has took me to today to feel a bit more safe . Went in to town in the morning and was glad to get back home incase the scammers came to my door and broke in .
The police were with me on Wedneday for a couple of hours and were really nice and told me not to bother about anything it was in their hands.

Sorry i have nor been here for a few days and am running late todaywith being in town this mornin.g
After i came home i made some lunch and made a phone call to Jean and now i am waiting on a call back from the Police . I have not heard from them since Wednesday and still have the scammers ladders and tools in one of my bedrooms and want rid of them.

Yesterday afternoon i decided to phone the Police about the scammers work tools and ladders being in my spare bedroom as i hav not heard from the Police since last Wednesday and the Police told me that the Police officer that is dealing with everything has written a statement to his Supervisior and is waiting on word back before anything can be moved.
I hope it will not be too long before the come to remove everything,
 
@Joan I really don't know how these scammers sleep at night, the thing is more and more people are being scammed every single day. It's really sad and worrying, I feel for the elderly who live alone.

@toetapping I love the sound of birds, it is kind of soothing. hope you enjoyed your walk.

Can you believe that my Grandson will be 2 years old next Monday. Having family and some friends coming Sunday, we will put out a buffet and we're having a bouncy castle.

Lyn, That two years has gone in quick.

I am hoping i might hear from the Police today but i will not hold my breath . We have no Police station here anymore , The nearest one is 8 miles away in Kettering and they cover other places as well and in the last sensus in 2021 for here there was 64 odd thoiusand living here and there are a lot more now so we really need our Police station back and things might get done quicker.
 
@Joan wow no police station. Every town should have at least one. How did you find the scammers? Was it through social media? I hope the police come soon. Wish it was like the old days, very rare see police about now.

@toetapping hope you enjoyed your classes. It’s lovely when we get warmer weather Joy.

I have my Grandson and daughter staying till Friday so will get online when I can.

Lynn , I did get the scammers by going online and i will never do that again.

The Police came yesterday to apologise for not getting the van to take away the scammers stuff and he was hopingto come for them today but time is going on and i don't think they will be here as he said he would phone and let me know when they will come.
I was in town this morning and didn't waste anytime there incase they were going to be here around about lunchtime
 
I would call the police again @Joan I so hope the police catch them. I hate scammers. It can happen to anyone. Last year my niece was scammed, she wanted a cat and paid deposit then they wanted transport fees, all in all it was something like £800, she wouldn't report it because she felt silly.

Having a party on Sunday for my Grandson, So need to get the house organised. I have neglected the forum for a couple of weeks now, hopefully next week I will post more content.

Lynn, I am sorry your Niece was scammed as well . They should be severely dealt with if they get caught . £800 is a lot for a person to lose . I lost a lot more and might not be able to make it up again if i don't get it back. The bank are still investigating my case.

I hope your Grandson has a great party tomorrow. I bet he will be excited.
