General Buying a new vehicle

At what point do you give up on your existing vehicle and look at purchasing a new one? I would probably go with mileage as I have an EV. Anything up to 90,000-100,000 / under 10 years is okay, when it goes over this I’d look at part exchanging.

I'll keep my vehicle until it becomes way too expensive to fix.

Then after that, I buy a new truck and take whatever trade-in value they want to give me.

However, new truck prices are crazy. If they go up anymore, I might just start buying used.
