The Admin Hub Blog or Forum for Homepage?

The first publicly open forum I launched had a blog on the home page. I was using wordpress for the blog as well as for the forum. At this moment, I do not have a separate blog for my forum, I have a blog within the forum.

I think a forum is more convenient, since in a forum people join and interact with each other, replying to posts, creating topics, etc. There's a lot of interaction, which makes it more relevant. In contrast, on a blog, people will only see the posts, and if nobody wants to see the posts, the blog will be pretty much dead.

If you want your blog to be more active than your forum, then your blog should be the homepage.

But if you want your forum to be the most active, it needs to be the homepage.

If you want both to be active, do different domain names for each.
