What are some of the best local dishes in your area or country? Over here we have tons of local dishes ranging from banga soup and starch to egusi soup and so on, all of them are so good that it makes it hard to choose the best.
For mebitsAfang soup and eba. This vegetable soup originates from the Efik people of Cross River State in southern Nigeria. They share this soup with their neighbors the Oron people of Akwa Ibom State. It is a dish commonly known by Nigerians and can be eaten by anyone
I come from the western part of Nigeria and our local cuisines are based on soups. The most popular food in my culture and location is Amala and Ewedu soup. The major ingredient for the food is cassava peels made into a stew like broth. No social gathering in my locality that the Amala and Ewedu soup is not served.
There are many, but for me personally, the best dish in my country clearly goes to "la milanesa" (breaded cutlet). Nothing beats a good milanesa; they're always delicious to eat.
