Planet Discussions Vault Are sequels hit or miss?

Over the years we have had a lot of movies with sequels like the gladiator, now you see me and so many others, do you think these sequels live up to the reputation of the first parts or are they pure miss.

It depends. There are sequels like Harry Potter that are a complete success, and there are sequels like Spiderman that are complete garbage, so it depends a lot, but generally they tend to be pretty good.
