If you disappeared tomorrow, would your community survive…

Or would it reveal how dependent it was on you?

Has anything like this ever occurred where it proved this otherwise?

If I disappear tomorrow will be running as long as domain and hosting do not expire but there will be no activities. My forum lacks organic activities, most of the posts are being pulled through paid posting, post exchanges, and posting packages. I have very little users who post without being compensated.

I need to prepare for some jail sentence or death by having another admin but haven't gotten around to it.

And there also should be hosting and domains paid off for one or two years but I'm sort of a poor person so that's tough to do. I usually pay 9 USD a month, altogether.

I'm lucky because @fords8 does all the maintenance here so I'm sure he would do fine without me but a number of members here are here because of me.

It would be interesting to see.

Afraid not, I have instructions left behind but all payments are privately done by me, so no one would pay the hosting bills.

If I disappear tomorrow, my forum will disappear in 6 months because that's when domain and hosting will expire. My forum will not function without me.

I am quite sure that many forums may not survive without their admins and owners. Admins and owners are a very important aspect of many forums. They are the ones who pay for hosting. They also mange the forum as well. This is why they are quite important, no matter what.
