Why forums?

What got you into forums? Using them and running them.

I started working at Postloop in the 2010s posting on forums. I also ran into Forum Promption somehow. I suppose they were a client of Postloop.

Many years ago, I discovered Postloop and The Forum Wheel where I could post to earn. I was mainly writing articles for various websites and I found forum posting easy. A couple of years later, I created my first forum, it was on wordpress and was primarily for the writers of my multi author blog. A few years later, I built an indie forum and managed to earn well. Then I started working on forums because it was more interesting than running blogs.

I started using them at a very young age as they had a forum connected to a kids TV show in New Zealand (very highly moderated posts had to be approved etc) and I just loved how they worked.
