Sincerely, only Haaland is a slight contender to be considered in the nominations for the next Balon D"Or. No one has really stood out so far this season in the top European leagues. But by January, we would see the stars that stand up to be counted with their performances.

Yamal doesn't really have a chance to win Balon D'Or next year. I strongly doubt that he can even make the top 5. He is not even the best player in Barcelona as at now. The one player that is very likely to win the Balon D'Or if they have a deep run in the champions league is Mbappe.

I completely agree with you. Yamal is not worthy of being mentioned in the Ballon D'Or conversation as far as I'm concerned. In fact, in last season's Ballon D'Or, he never deserved to be 2nd because Raphinha was Barcelona's better player in everything.

Last year, he really carried Barcelona even as a teenager and he singlehandedly won Euros carrying the Spanish national team on his bag in Euros 24. But for this year, even Rashford has contributed more than him to Barcelona.
