The former Manchester United player Darren Fletcher have replaced Ruben Amorim on an interim basis until the board appoints a new permanent head coach. At least for now, Michael Carrick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have both been sounded out by Manchester United as possible replacements.

Manchester United is not looking at hiring a permanent manager now. They are looking at hiring a caretaker manager who's going to be in charge until summer when they will hire a permanent head coach. Ole is likely getting the job for now.
