What's the most unusual or unexpected animal behavior you've ever witnessed in person?

I'm talking about those moments where an animal does something that totally surprises you or goes against what you thought you knew about that species. Like seeing a squirrel adopt a baby bird, or watching a cat and mouse actually playing together instead of the usual predator-prey thing etc.. And did it change how you think about that animal afterward?

I remember how my neighbour's goat climbed the fence like a cat. It really surprised everybody. That day, we nearly laughed our heart out.
