I was feeling down recently and just played one old comedy movie I've seen many times. I still laughed like it was my first time. The jokes land, the timing is perfect, and the characters are just funny naturally. There was not a forced comedy. Those kinds of movies are like comfort food. You already know the scenes, but you still laugh.
Jim Carrey's Liar Liar always makes me laugh. It is one of the best movies out there. Jim Carrey played the character really well. I always watch clips if that movie all the time whenever I feel anxious and it helps me a lot.
