Has running a community made you a better person… or a more cynical one?

Why is this? How did this form?

I find that I'm more willing to help others out now that I own a few forums and know my way around some technical issues that other forum owners might run into. I also find that I'm starting to get more organized and stick to a schedule better now that I've been engaging in some post exchanges for my forums.
