There can be several, it doesn't necessarily have to be just one genre. In my case, horror and action seem to me to be two pillars and the most fun genres in games. If a game doesn't have something like this, or at least just one element, I don't usually like it as much. What are your favorite game genres?
I am addicted to shooting and fighting games. Games like Call of Duty and the Battlefield series have been the ones that I had a good time playing always as long as they are fun.
In terms of fighting games, it is one of the most interesting genre out there. Street Fighter series is my favourite in that genre for a long time now.
I wouldn't consider myself a true true gamer because I haven't tried plenty of games or know about many games as other gamers do. I did spent insane amount of time on MMORPG such as Allods online in my teen age.
I used to play MOBA games such as Smite and LOL.
I enjoy card games such as GWENT.
