With how so many people now have access to guns, do you think practicing martial arts is still necessary? I ask because, what can martial arts skills do against someone with a gun?
That's a fair point.. martial arts won't stop a bullet. But I think they are still valuable for self-defense in situations where guns aren't involved plus they build confidence, discipline, fitness and situational awareness. Most confrontations don't involve guns anyway. I don't personally practice martial arts but I see the benefits beyond just fighting.
