I've heard stories about some book genres not being allowed to be read in some countries. It could be as a result of some religious reasons or just the ethics. Is there a book genre that is banned in your place?

I think that anything offensive is banned in my country. We should respect each other's beliefs and this how we can coexist. We should respect each other's religion. We should give equal rights to everyone. This is why publishing books with offensive content should be banned in all countries.

I don't know that there is a particular genre that is prohibited in the country where I live.

When I was a kid, there may be things that my parents didn't allow me to read because I wasn't old enough. But there isn't anything I can't read now that I'm an adult.

I am quite sure that the government may never allow any writer to publish a book that night be a threat to its regime. In the past, many writers have been silenced for what they wrote. No one can every fight with the government.

Such should be banned because it is wrong that kids get to have access to such books. It is not always that great for kids under 15 to be reading that kind of book.

Well, material related to adult entertainment is quite easily available online nowadays. There was a time when books and magazines related to adult entertainment used to get published and such kind of material was banned in many countries. This used to be the case when internet was not invented yet.
