Which do you think should be top priority between talent and discipline? Personally i feel a person who is talented but lack discipline will not be able to go far in life. A disciplined person on the other hand can easily develop a talent or two.

Discipline always trumps talent; there are talented people who are so lazy that they end up regressing more than advancing, while a disciplined person simply moves forward without stopping.

I think discipline is definitely needed to acquire talent.

You have to be able to train yourself to acquire it, and if you're not disciplined about it, you're going to have problems.

Discipline.. Talent alone won't get you far without the work ethic to back it up. You can have natural ability but if you are lazy or undisciplined you won't go anywhere.

A disclipliine person will always outshine and outperformed a talented person.

You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't have the discipline to do the tasks at hand, it doesn't matter too much. The same applies with consistency.

You need the discipline to aquire your talent as well and utilize it.

I don't think talent exists. A person can learn and master anything, as much as their intelligence allows.

However, as for myself, I don't have enough time to learn and especially master a lot of stuff I like.
