Animal Kingdom Is vet service affordable in your place?

I have no pet since 2014. But I remember that when I had pet, a visit to vet meant some good expense. Recently while walking and talking with my friends who have pets, I was shocked to find the high cost of vet services. It was a huge jump from 2014. It is insane taking in account the inflation rate.
How about your place? Do you get vet services at affordable price?

Not really. The last time my friend carried her dog to the vet, the bill shocked everybody. What happened to the dogs wasn't even a serious thing like that. I must confess, the pet owners are really spending a lot of money to care for their pets.Vet care in my home country is quite expensive.

Unfortunately it's really not that affordable where I live. My work does provide pet insurance, but I usually just skip it though I do have a cat currently. I just pay out of pocket when we take him to the vet.

No the vet services right from tine is never cheap in Nigeria. The good thing is that we have good vets here. So you are getting money worth off the services

I have actually come across a few vet shops in my area, but i noticed only very few persons actually carry their pets to the vets.

Veterinary services are pretty expensive here. Even a simple vaccine shot can cost around $20. It is a good idea to have a fund for your pets, especially in emergency cases.

In the city where I live, there are many veterinary clinics. Many pet owners are coming to the Vet Med for check-ups of their pets. I also brought my pet TikTok to the Vet's clinic when my pet was sick.
