Whenever I get a cold drink from a place such as McDonald's, I always ask for no ice. I hate that the ice not only waters down the drink, but you will also find that you get a lot less drink than you pay for, so they can add the ice to the drink.
Do you have ice in your drinks when you order a drink?
The only time I have ice in my drinks is when they come from a restaurant. I never use ice whenever I'm at home, though it sucks when my drinks get watered down after a while because of the ice . Some places put too much ice in their drinks and I think that's how they lose their flavor quicker.
I like to add ice to my cold drinks. I do it for two reasons, one, I like chilled cold drinks, and two, I find cold drinks too sweet so I balance taste with ice cubes.
This kind of depends on what I'm drinking. If I'm drinking my Baja Blast Mountain Dew or Cherry Coke, I can pour them in a cup and put ice in there with it. It keeps it colder for longer. But other than those drinks, I usually don't put ice in it.
It's best to consume chilled water in moderation and that's what I do. Cold water can cause digestive issues, exacerbate migraines, and affect respiratory health by increasing mucus production.
