The Admin HubHow do you prioritize tasks and stay organized as an admin?
Being an admin is not as easy as it seems to so many people, especially when messages and tasks are piling up. Personally, I like to jot things down and rate them from what is most important to what can wait to be done the next day. If I don’t prioritize the top three important tasks daily, I’d be hopping from one task to another, wasting my precious time.
How do you keep things organized without losing your mind?
I use a comprehensive to-do lists and checkboxes. Every morning, I write dowm the tasks that I must complete before the end of the day. So, everything other things that comes after that are just bonuses.
I not only run two forums but I am also administrator on a few. As an admin, my main concern is to get quality posters. I don't want people who do not post quality content, I want people who can contribute to the discussion. As an admin, I try to make priorities like building content, building memberbase, promoting, and all sorts of things.
I’m new to forum administration, even though I’ve used forums for years. I focus on learning as I go, in fact I am learning trial amd error. I am trying to prioritize urgent tasks first and then gradually organize routines, while observing what works for more experienced admins.
