Although Woltlab is a paid forum software that has been around for almost two decades, and appears to still have updates and a hefty price, I have rarely seen any online communities use it. And I've been on many internet forums in my life. Like, dozens of them. I used to have my own forum back in the day, but the activity declined and I closed it down.
I mostly see Xenforo, with some IPB and vBulletin here and there, and some of those new minimalistic forums (I don't know what the software is called because they don't have any sort of license mentioned in the footer).
I'm just wondering whether any of you have used Woltlab either as an admin or as a forum member.
Quite frankly, I'm surprised that Woltlab is still in business, considering that I can count the number of communities I've seen using it on one hand.
