I remember very well seeing the trailer for the first time on TV and thinking, "Wow, it looks so real, so much like the Garfield from the animated series." And it definitely does; it looks very, very real, especially considering it was 2004. You couldn't expect anything better. The movie is very entertaining. The plot is perhaps a bit simple, but fun. The main villain is Happy Chapman, a frustrated TV presenter who, in his desire to surpass his successful brother, plans to kidnap the dog...
