Animal Kingdom Exotic Pets

Cats and dogs are common pet animals, however, some people go forward and have snakes, lizards, scorpions, monkey, and a lot of other exotic animals as pets. What are your thoughts on exotic pets, do you like to have them, are you against them? Do you think people can keep any animals as pets, or do you believe there should be restrictions as some animals might harm people or community.

We had some lizards when I was a kid. The most exotic type pet maybe I had was a ferret.

For me it depends on the animal if people can safely care for them sure. But there are probably some that shouldn’t be.

I don't like snakes and lizards eww.. they creep me out completely. I think exotic pets can be dangerous and shouldn't be kept casually. Some animals just aren't meant for homes especially ones that could harm people or escape into communities. There should definitely be restrictions. If it's venomous, wild or requires specialized care most people can't provide, it shouldn't be a pet honestly.
