XAMPP is a Apache server that you can install on Mac OS, Windows, and Linux. I recently have been messing around with it since there's a forum I want to convert to another forum software and I need to install an old version of the software I'm wanting to switch to since the converter software only works with an older version of the software. It's also a good way to test things out for your live websites before making changes to your live sites. I did have issues getting it to install properly on Windows 11 so I decided to mess around with it in Ubuntu and it worked much better.
