If you have registered a top level domain and used strong second level domain, you might have a high chance of selling domains. The value of domain depend on the extension you have used and keywords in your domain. Domain with commercial value can fetch a good price. I have sold a few domains but I did not make a lot of profits.
Not yet but I've thought about getting into domain flipping. It seems like a decent side hustle if you can spot trends early and grab domains before they become valuable.
It can be very risky because you will have to continue renew the domain until they are sold. Sometimes they never get sold and you might have to drop them. This has happened to me many times.
I haven't tried selling domains for profit as I generally like to keep all my domains and develop my own websites. It is not a business that I'd like to explore.
