Christmas 2025 End of year work parties

Does your work do anything for the end of year? My partners work does and the workers and their partners all go to a restaurant towards the end of this month.

The cool thing is partners don't have to pay so I'll probably get a couple of alcohol drinks and an expensive steak

Nope my work has never done anything like that. Granted it is just like McDonalds so I wouldn't expect anything like that.

I think we did one one of the years there. It didn't do that well so it was just that year I think. Our old owner used to give gift certificates and stuff.

I work from home, so it is not something I do, but I know family members who work; they have Christmas parties, and you can usually bring along a family member or two or a friend. They are quite fun if you ever get the chance to go to them

Sometimes my work does a party before Christmas, though they tend to be a drag.

Nope my work doesn't do anything for Christmas, I wish we did though it would be a cool way to enjoy the Holiday and get to know other people too.

Yes we have an end of year get together. This is an avenue to gather all the workers around and have fun, we also collect gifts that we take home as well.

I no longer work but when I did, there were parties but I never partie-cipated (see what I did there?) as there was a colleague I didn't get on with.

When I was at work we often had a meal out somewhere.. good opportunity to get dressed in something other than a uniform.
