Music Does Lyrics Matter to You?

When listening to a song, do you care about the lyrics, do you think it is important for a song to have a good lyrics? Do you just pay attention to the voice and music, or lyrics as well. Well, for me, lyrics matter. Most of my favorite songs have great lyrics. I think without a good lyrics, a song never becomes classic.

Yes I don't joke with song lyrics. I go for positive songs with uplifting lyrics. They do help to improve my mood. They can help you reduce stress, and enhance mental well-being.

While I love melodies of songs, if the lyrics is so shallow, there is no way that I na going to keep such a song on. I Playlist. The lyrics of a song must be meaningful and communicate something to me anytime I listen to the song.

I am too mature and learned to love a song because of just vibes. I don't do songs that don't have lyrics that are meaningful. If a song somehow finds a way to my device and I discover that it is just vibes, with no lyrical attributes, I delete it immediately.

As a lyricist myself, yes. With a few honourable exceptions (classical, jazz, Shadows, Mike Oldfield, Dave Brubeck), I find instrumentals boring.
