Where did you want it located? What software would it be for? What would be the user response? Why would you want the add-on?

Never really been a fan of those and the forums I've had them on they're barely used.

Although I own a chat script for Xenforo, I don't put them on my forums. Maybe if I had a lot of staff, it could be good to have.

I have one on my General Forum, but it doesn't take away from the forum at all. People who are active seem to really like it.

I've never been the biggest fan of shoutboxes. I feel that nowadays Discord is a better alternative for a shoutbox. I've seen them being used on roleplaying forums so members can talk out of character, other than that I feel like they used to take away activity from the forums.

It's transport for me. The fuel price issue changed everything. I spend crazy money moving around and to work. The transport fare just keep increasing. You’re not even buying luxury, just surviving. Commuting is the real bill killer.

hmm, I have mixed feelings for this. Chatbox is fun but it can kill quality posts. People will gist there and ignore the threads. Still, for community vibe, it’s nice. Maybe they can limit it or archive the messages.
