Animal KingdomAnimals that visit you frequently....
The place where I live has some stray dogs, stray cats, birds, snakes, occasionally rodents like rats visiting us. Earlier, we had monkeys coming on regular basis and creating menace. These days they don't come as they might be scared of the noise and movements with ongoing metro construction. It was a pleasant surprise when I spotted a peacock last month. Well, the pests like cockroaches, ants, flies etc are omnipresent.
What are the animals that you spot frequently or occasionally around you?
For my area I see mostly lizards and sometimes those stubborn neighborhood cats. One has even chosen my compound as his home, but I don't care as long as he doesn't scratch my car.
Squirrels frequently visit my yard stealing from the bird feeder. Lately a group of rabbits have also been visiting. There's also a stray cat that occasionally appears on my porch searching for food.
The neighbors that live across the street have a couple of dogs that like to visit my hubby. He keeps some dog biscuits in the garage so that when the dogs come to visit him then he can give them a treat.
For me, those small birds and squirrels come to my compound often. They are quite funny and I enjoy watching them play. Sometimes I even give them corn or peanuts to eat. Cats and my neighbor’s dogs always come too.
