It is not easy to give definative answer. That's because some remakes are good and it attracts new players and also encourages old players to go back to the gamer. However, some remakes are nothing but a way to get money from people.

I did not know about Pedro Pascal until I watched GOT. Even though he had a short role, his character was memorable. His work on The Last of Us was great. I even felt frustration when his character died. I watched Gladiator 2 just for him.
