  1. The Admin Hub What are you thoughts on Free Forum Hosts?

Some forumers just like forum posting. They aren't into web development. They just want to have fun.
  2. The Admin Hub Forums with Weird Colors

Do you know any? Here is a yellow one. https://www.tdpri.com/ It's actually very popular, even for this anti-forum era.
  3. The Admin Hub Do You Own Multiple Forums

I run a hosting and music lesson one. I once had a third one, a theology forum, but I'm stopping it for a short time until I get another domain name. And it's easy to run the ones I have now. I just build material for them as much as I have time for.
  4. The Admin Hub Plans for 2026

Put way more material on my two forums. Figure out a way to get back links, particularly for the music lesson one which is harder.
  5. The Wired Hub A domain name you would love to own but it's expensive.

    A work-around would be getting TheChatAddicts.com etc..
  6. The Admin Hub If you could own any website..

I would only want to own another site (that I didn't create) because of the money and I will say WebHosting Talk but other candidates would be stuff like Digital Point and Warrior forum.
  7. The Admin Hub What are you thoughts on Free Forum Hosts?

At least one, Tapatalk (free version) has too many ads. And as for free forum hosts, in general, they are good for some people, but I don't like the limits on freedom and paid self-hosting isn't expensive these days (not like food and rent, lol).
  8. Books & Reading Encyclopedias

Who likes to read them? I know with the advent of the internet they are not as in-demand. Does anyone remember reading World Book Encyclopedia in the early 90s or earlier?
  9. Books & Reading Do You Have a Personal Library?

I never had a library, but I used to collect books about computer programming. I did this in the 2000s while I was in my twenties.
  10. Planet Discussions Vault Does watching a movie at home gives the same experience as watching it in movie theater.

Action films like Star Wars are way better at the cinema and it's a no-brainer why. But, of course, you can recapture some of the feel of the cinema with surround sound and a big-screen TV, though.
  11. Planet Discussions Vault Do you still watch cartoon shows?

I liked to watch The Simpsons, Duck Man and The Critic. These shows were a part of my teen and young adult years as I was born in 1976.
  12. Planet Discussions Vault Are you overwhelmed by the number of choices of entertainment?

There's lots of junk to watch. There's lots of good stuff to watch, but for the good stuff, I don't have the time. I have to work a part-time job and then I got all sorts of projects.
  13. The Admin Hub How to Fix the Avatar Upsizer Like What's On Planet Discussions

OK. Thanks. I will look at it again.
  14. The Wired Hub What is your dream car?

I like Dodge Challengers and Chargers. They are very cool and sporty. They are so cool, they seem too cool to do serious things like go to work.
  15. The Wired Hub Has Ai made us lazy?

It's no shame in using AI and calculators for simple math, but people should know how to do math so it's not like they are lazy. :)
  16. Life & Health How important is exercise for you?

My lack of driving forces me to walk a lot, but probably it's very good for me. In fact, I walk across this small town to get to my work.
  17. The Admin Hub How to Fix the Avatar Upsizer Like What's On Planet Discussions

I don't how. Any clue? Where can I get the extension for my two phpBB forums. Thanks.
  18. The Wired Hub Do you actively post on social media?

It could be useful to promote my music forum and I have a huge FB page for it. However, though, besides that, it's a huge time-waster, even if I'm posting interesting and/or funny observations. Well, I need that time to study things to improve my life, to work on projects etc, or even I...
  19. General Slowness in Society

Whether it's slow at work or slow to catch on to topics at school, it seems to be a big handicap in today's world. But is it something to be ashamed of ? Well, some would say the slow are lazy and/or fools. Well, on the movie Tommy Boy, Chris Farley is mocked because he went to college for...
  20. The Wired Hub Who likes computer programming?

Yeah, that's the problem with universities etc., they expect people to absorb stuff in so much time, but some absorb stuff slower, but that doesn't mean they don't know it at the end.
