There is a song I heard and it was titled, Friday. It was performed by Rebecca Black. Everything about the song was off. The singing was poor, the lyrics was poor and even the production.
I hate 'Barbie Girl' too. I also hate 'Vienna' by Ultravox, 'Love Is Blue' by Paul Mauriat, 'Ghostbusters' by Ray Parker Junior, 'Relax' and '2 Tribes' by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart' by Bonnie Tyler, 'Ride On Time' by Black Box, 'Umbrella' by Rihanna and 'Japanese Boy' by Aneka. Plus the John and Olivia duets from 'Grease'.
I personally can’t stand hip hop and rap. The style, rhythm, and lyrics just don’t appeal to me. While I understand it has a huge following and artistic value, it’s a genre I rarely enjoy listening to.
There are couple of songs that get me irritated but my top pick is the songs that forces auto-tune over real voices, or songs with meaningless lyrics repeated over and over. I mean, there are some songs that sounds like a broken record. They just kept repeating the same thing. When you hear “baby baby baby…” for the hundredth time in a row, you start to wonder if the singer even has lyrics.
