GeneralHow do you stay positive and focused during challenging times?
It demands courage to stay positive during challenging times. I just quit pushing myself to stay tough all the time. Many times I had crumbled and recovered. Then give it another shot. Life isn’t meant to be all bed of roses. When situations overwhelm me, I don't let it get to me, rather I concentrate on what’s within my power.
The worst thing that can happen to a person during challenging times is to have someone with negative energy around you. Someone that would break you and discourage you the more. There is no way you can stay positive in challenging times with those kinds of people around. So, I totally discard negative people when I am going through those challenging times.
It's normal to have challenges in what someone is doing, because that can't be avoided completely. How I stay focused is by working with my plan. As long as it's a good plan, even when things are not going well, the plan will make way for me.
I try to focus on small wins and things I can actually control rather than dwelling on what I can't change. Staying connected with supportive people helps me a lot.. Sometimes just taking things one day at a time and being kind to myself makes challenges feel more manageable.
It's extremely easy to get demotivated when facing challenges, but one thing that helps me stay positive is the fact that i always remember giving up still won't solve the problem.
