Speedruns used to focus on fun glitches and sharing tips. These communities are now more into high-pressure sport-level events. Does that change the vibe? Have you ever been into speed running, have you evwr been a part of any community? Which games do you think still keep a friendly speedrun culture? How do you feel about heavy rule enforcement in niche categories?
 
I don't know if it's overly competitive, but it is competitive after all, which is normal; when something gains popularity and reaches more and more people, it's normal for competition to increase.
