Prose and poetry is the most popular literary work of arts in my opinion. Drama is good but it's as popular as either prose or poetry. Which one is more creative between prose and poetry?

Do you prefer reading poetry or prose?

I'm not really into poetry to be honest. I've always preferred prose because it feels more straightforward and easier to follow. Poetry can be beautiful but sometimes it feels too abstract or difficult to interpret for me. I like clear storytelling and narratives.

I love me some prose. It is the form of writing that I think has the most creativity. Being able to use imagery with figures of speech and rhyme patterns to tell a story is high level creativity.

I prefer prose because I enjoy clear storytelling and detailed explanations. I like reading fiction and narrative non-fiction, especially novels that explore human experiences or historical events, as they give depth and context that poetry usually doesn’t provide for me.

I have been a poetry writer since high school. I joined an international poetry contest and won third. I have written 800 poems. I also write short stories, which are mostly about love..
