I never used to drink coffee. Right from being young and my mum and grandma making coffee in different ways to try and get me to like it, I could never get past the bitter taste of the coffee.
A few years ago now, my mum had some coffee syrups that she wasn't using and she gave them to us to use. I decided to try them in iced coffee and was able to drink the coffee with no issues.
I can now drink things like mocha, iced coffee and also frappes without issues now as long as I have the coffee syrups

I prepare my coffee in a very simple way. So, it's nothing fancy. I mix coffee, milk and a touch of sugar in hot water. I don't like to make it excessively sweet or overly bitter. Just something moderate, but drinking it at night means no sleep, for me. That is the only exception.
Black and sugarless.
I usually drink Beyond Black, which is Dark Roast by The Black Rifle Coffee Company.
