Warwick Davis has spoken about his return to the Harry Potter franchise following confirmation that he will reprise the role of Professor Filius Flitwick in HBO’s upcoming series adaptation. The high-budget first season will span eight episodes and revisit J.K. Rowling’s debut Wizarding World novel, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, bringing the story back to screens 26 years after the original film premiered. If the series proves successful, HBO intends to adapt the remaining books — Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows — for the small screen.
