On Dec. 14, 2025, news outlets all over the globe reported the unexpected deaths of the director of When Harry Met Sally...and his wife, whom he met on the set of the classic film, Michele. While tributes to Rob and Michele Reiner poured in, on Dec. 16, their son, Nick, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. On Dec. 17, Nick appeared in court, did not offer a plea, and had his arraignment postponed until Jan. 7, 2026.
